New year, new me? // Nuevo año, nueva yo?

viernes, enero 06, 2017

First of all, I’d have loved to post this on the first but my wifi wasn’t working for a few days (awfuuuul, I know), but I keep my mind positive and here I am, with a brand new post for 2017.
We have heard this phrase many times (right now it comes to my mind Elena Gilbert after breaking up with Stefan), and I know a lot of people just hate the way it sounds and what it means. But it’s not a bad thing. It’s not the typical resolution about starting the gym and blab la (though if that is your resolution, is amazing, so keep working!).
For me, I really hope this is a new year that brings a new me. Because I want 2017 to be the year without fear. And this includes everything. No fear of talking with stranger, to try new things, to persue my dreams.
So I do believe that a year can change your mindset, and your life. It’s not easy, but it’ll be worth it. I want to keep the things about myself that I love, that I am proud of, I want to be around my amazing family and friends, but I want to improve myself, to be really proud of what I am doing. To finally be able to answer when they ask me “what do you do?”.
With this short post I just want you to find courauge to change the things that you want, to be a new you in all of those aspects you don’t like about yourself. And to embrace the things you love about you, those that make you happy.
I hope that me, and all of you bring the best version of ourselves this new year.
Very happy 2017!

  2. What a cute little post. Very short but on point. I never told my friends or family I was blogging when I first started out in 2014. I re branded and re launched at the start of this year and only told my husband what my plans and intentions were. We don't have a large blogging community here in New Zealand so it's really hard to confess or explain to people what I do.

    1. I live in Argentina and here there's not a big blogging community either, so I get what you mean. Even though people don't get what you do, keep doing your work and be happy with it, in the long time or short time they will. Just keep being you!

  13. New year inspire new beginnings and new motivation. A lot of people are annoyed by the phrase "new year, new me" because they don'e believe things just all of a sudden happen because it id a new year. I think as long as we keep the motivation we have when the year start to make new things happen there is a sense to it. I hope you keep your motivation and make a lot happen this year. Happy 2017 :)

  14. Sometimes it's the short but sweet posts that are the best! I completely agree with you, there's absolutely nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself, every day is a chance for a fresh start when you think about it. There is definitely some cliche surrounding the new year goals, which most of the time don't stick (I wonder if there has ever been a person who started the gym on January 1st and continued every day for the rest of the year like they set out to do aha), I love your positive outlook/mindset and look on the future to come as a whole, we need more of this! Lovely post :-)
