MALBA: Yoko Ono

lunes, agosto 15, 2016

Malba is a museum that is located in Buenos Aires. Every couple of months it brings new exhibitions, mainly on issues related to the Latin American but this year it brought the exhibition of the famous Yoko Ono.
It's going to sound weird to say that I didn't like the exhibition as much as I thought I was going to do because I went four times hahah, but the truth is that I was not impressed.
It's a happening and I really like these types of exposures because the public can participate in them and this is always super fun, in this exhibition for example you could hammer a nail into a cross, paint a wall, leave a message for your mom in another wall, fix broken objects, print the peace in a place of the world you want, etc. Also on a wall were pictures of the eyes of women who told stories about the times when they were abused in a thousand different ways just for being a woman, and I thought that was admirable and it was awesome to give voice to women to tell their stories, that are often forget or are not given the importance they deserve. Anyway, I think it is an exhibition worth visiting, but not more than once. Here I give you photos to see was like, and the link if you want to see a little more!

Each person has their own orbit. Imagine that people close to you are planets. Sometimes it's nice just to watch them orbit and shine.

Try not to say anything negative about anybody. See what happens with your life.

Imagine peace.

In this tree you could write a wish and then tie it to a leaf

Here you have to put together your shadows until they are one and I thought it was the sweetest thing ever.
