Banana Pancakes

Happy Sunday! How are you doing?
Lately I've been obsessed looking for healthy recipes and I wanted to share this one with you. The particular thing about this one recipe is that you don't have to put sugar in it but for those who are loyal fans of sugar trust me, you don't even notice it doesn't have any sugar because it's super sweet anyway. So, here are the ingredients:
  • 1 banana (preferably mature)
  • 2 tablespoons of white flour, wheat flour or oatmeal (that's up to your taste ) 
  • 1 drop of vanilla extract 
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder 
  • 1 egg

Últimamente estoy obsesionada buscando recetas saludables y quise compartir esta con vos. Lo particular de esta receta es que no va con azúcar (para los fans de la azúcar créanme que son tan dulces que ni se siente la falta de azúcar). Acá van los ingredientes:
  • 1 banana (preferible que este madura para poder aplastarla)
  • 2 cucharas de harina blanca, harina integral o avena (eso depende de lo que a vos te guste mas)
  • 1 gotita de extracto de vainilla
  • 1 cucharadita de polvo de hornear
  • 1 huevo


Once you have the ingredients, you have to cut the banana into small pieces and crush them with a fork. When you have  sort of a puree you'll put it into a larger bowl.

Una vez que tenemos nuestros ingredientes, vamos a cortar la banana en pedazos muy pequeños y a aplastarla con un tenedor. Cuando nos quede como una especie de puré la vamos a pasar a un bowl mas grande.  


To the mixture of the banana you're going to add an egg and beat it until it gets smooth . Then you're going to add two tablespoons of flour or oatmeal and then  you have to drop the vanilla extract and finally the teaspoon of baking powder. If you feel like you can throw a few drops of stevia or sweetener but I think it tastes better when I don't add those. 

A la mezcla de la banana le vas a agregar un huevo y a batir hasta que quede homogéneo. Luego van las dos cucharadas de harina, después la gotita de extracto de vainilla y por ultimo la cucharadita de polvo de hornear. Si tenes ganas le podes tirar unas gotitas de stevia o edulcorante pero me gustan mas cuando no lleva nada. 


Last, you have to put a little of the mixture in a cast iron and wait for it to cook.

Por ultimo, vamos a poner un poquito de la mezcla en la plancha y a esperar a que se cocine. 


I would add a couple of almonds but you can eat them alone or add strawberries , blueberries or any other fruit you like!

Yo le agregue un par de almendras pero podes comerlos solos o agregarle frutillas, arándanos o cualquier otra fruta que te guste!
