10 Productivity Hacks

Lately I've been having this feeling where I want to do differents assignments but I can't force myself to do them. So I thought that if I wrote a post about productivity it would help me to stop procrastinating, and here they are: 

Últimamente tengo que hacer un montón de trabajos para la facultad y una vez que me pongo los puedo hacer y hasta me divierten pero tengo un problema que no puedo forzarme a hacerlos. Así que pensé que seria una buena idea escribir un post sobre tips para ser mas productivo y tal vez me ayudaba a mi misma jaja, así que acá están: 

1.Wake up Earlier
I know I said this like a million times but it's so important! If you get into the habit of waking up 10 minutes earlier each morning, your life will change so much! You can work without distractions from your family, coworkers, friends or anybody. (And you get to see beautiful sunrises)
1.Despertate temprano
Se que dije esto como un millón de veces en mis posts pero es tan importante! Si logras el habito de despertarte diez minutos antes cada mañana, tu vida va a cambiar un montón. Podes trabajar sin las distracciones que tenes si en tu casa, tu oficina o donde sea hay mucha gente dando vuelta. (Y tenes la posibilidad de ver hermosos amaneceres)

2. Be On Time
It will help you stick to your day's schedule. This doesn't mean you have to be rushing eveywhere, but organize your time effectively.

2. Se Puntual
Esto te va a ayudar muchísimo a seguir tu horario de ese día. Esto no significa que tengas que estar corriendo de un lado a otro, pero que puedas organizar tu tiempo efectivamente. 

3. Make A Productivity Playlist
I'm always saying how important music to me when it comes to productivity. Right now, will writing this post I'm listening to some inspiring, productive music and I feel so much positive and excited about doing it. This can help you stay on task and make fun anything you have to do. I made one on spotify, if you want to check it out!

3. Hace Una Playlist
Siempre estoy diciendo cuan importante es la música cuando se trata de ser productivo. Ahora, mientras escribo esto estoy escuchando música que me inspira y me hace sentir super productiva y entusiasmada de escribir este post. Esto te puede ayudar a estar el día con todas las tareas/entregas lo que sea que tengas, y hasta hacerlo divertido! Hice una playlist en spotify, por si la quieren escuchar!


4.Eat Breakfast
This is super difficult to me because I really can't eat in the morning, it makes me feel sick, but I try to at least eat a fruit or a yogurt! Breakfast truly is the most important meal of the day. A morning meal gives you the fuel you need to be present and productive at work/school/college, so don't skip it.
4. Desayuna 
Esta es super difícil para mi porque siempre que desayuno me siento mal, es como que no puedo ver comida apenas me levanto. Siempre tomo un te pero trato de comer una fruta o un yogurt. El desayuno es en serio la mas importante comida del día. Un buen desayuno te da toda la energía que necesitas para estar presente y productivo en el trabajo o colegio/universidad, así que no te lo saltes. 

5. The Two Minute Rule
This rule says that if a task takes less than two minutes to complete, you should finish it immediately. Whether that means responding to an email or confirming a doctor's appointment, get those small (but often weighty-feeling) tasks done with, rather than let them collect and crushed.
5. La Regla de Los Dos Minutos
Esta regla dice que si una tarea te lleva menos de dos minutos completarla, tenes que hacerla en el momento. Ya sea responder un mail o confirmar el día que vas a ir al doctor, tenes que hacer esas pequeñas tareas antes que dejar que se acumulen.

6. Prepare Everything The Night Before
Before you go to sleep, prepare everything you’ll need the next day. This will probably take you 15 minutes or less, saving you more time for eating breakfast in the morning. Pack up your clothes, shoes, socks, etc. Or even better, create a checklist so you don’t miss anything. You can also prep your food so you have even more time to sleep or don't rush in the morning. 

6. Prepara Todo La Noche Anterior
Antes de irte a dormir, prepara todo lo que vas a necesitar al otro día. Esto probablemente te lleve 15 minutos o menos, y te da mas tiempo para desayunar en la mañana, por ejemplo. Prepara tu ropa, mochila, etc. O mejor, hace una lista para no olvidarte de nada. También podes preparar tu comida así a la mañana tenes mas tiempo para dormir o no estar apurada. 

7. Hydrate
It has been proved that when the body is dehydrated we lose energy and focus. Make sure you drink water right throughout the day in order to get the most from both your body and mind.

Se comprobó que cuando el cuerpo esta deshidratado perdemos energía y concentración. Así que asegúrate de tomar agua durante el día para sacar lo mas que puedas de tu cuerpo y mente. 

8.Turn off Notifications
When you have to do a lot of work, you don’t want to be disturbed by anything, but especially a notification in the bottom right of your screen. Switch off all notifications. When you receive any type of notification, it disturbs your focus. If you turn them off you can have calm, undisturbed focus for as long as you want!

8. Desactiva Todas Las Notificaciones
Cuando tenes que hacer un montón de trabajo, no queres que te distraiga nada, pero especialmente no queres miles de notificaciones. Apágalas. Cuando te llega una notificación de un mensaje, instagram, snapchat o lo que sea probablemente las abrís y te colgas ahí por un rato. Así que apágalas así podes tener toda la concentración que necesitas. 

9. Listen to TED talks on productivity.
You only need to search on the page of TED or on youtube talks about productivity, they are a lot and of different duration, so you can choose whatever you want.

9. Escucha charlas de TED en productividad
Solo necesitas entrar a la pagina de TED o en youtube y buscar charlas que hablen sobre ser productivo. Hay muchas y de diferente duración así que podes elegir cualquiera que te guste mas.

 10. Stay positive!
A productivity life goes a long way toward keeping you happy, healthy, and positive. Count your blessings, and try to see things always in a positive way.
10. Mantente positivo
Una vida productiva va de la mano de mantenerte feliz, saludable y positivo. Conta todas tus bendiciones y trata de ver las cosas siempre de una manera positiva.

  3. Such a great post! I love getting up early in the morning,it makes my day somehow longer and i get to do all the things i want to do :) I also agree with you that breakfast is important and i got myself used up to eat early every morning :)

  8. I love love TED talks they are amazing for motivation. I am going to turn off my notification every time my phone bleeps I am instantly turned away from what I am doing.

  15. Que buenos consejos, Pau! La verdad que a mi me cuestan algunas cosas que mencionas pero son totalmente ciertas! De hecho si uno se levanta más temprano y esperas un rato para desayunar, no cae mal... Al menos eso es lo que yo hago! Espero un poco para desayunar porque siempre me cae mal, asi que te entiendo!   17. These tips are so so good! I do some of these already but I think one thing I'd really like to do is to get up earlier in the morning. The only thing holding me back is that I end up staying up too late and then need all the sleep I can get... But I've got to make a change! Thanks for sharing these tips, love them!

  37. Ay esto me re cuesta! Me pasa que quiero hacer mil cosas en un dia y no me sale. Tengo que ser mas organizada y ser menos colgada. Voy a seguir estos consejos. Siempre me preparo todo la noche anterior porque me tengo que levantar 4 y media todos los dias, pero no desayuno bien, ni me hidrato bien, y creo que una buena playlist me va a ayudar.
